New features for DCMH Foundation golf event

Registrations are underway for the Hospital Foundation fall golf outing and the event has announced a number of positive new features this year.
According to Foundation Director, David Fry, the 4th Annual Event ‘fore’ Caring is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, at the Greensburg Country Club.

In one of several new features, this year’s event will offer morning sessions for physicians to earn Continuing Medical Education Credit from 9 to 11 a.m. The sessions will be conducted by Drs. Klein and Harlamert of Heart Partners of Indiana and can be attended independent of the tournament.

The educational sessions will be followed by a pre-tournament luncheon to be held at 11:15 with the tournament’s tee time scheduled for 12:30 p.m. In another new feature, all of the options for participation and sponsorship can benefit from an early bird discount if completed by August 15.

“This tournament has the unique distinction of celebrating a hole-in-one in each of the last two years. That excitement should carry forward as our committee adds several new enhancements to the tourney this year, including the CME sessions, pre-tournament luncheon, a later start time and early bird discounts. We think that all of these will make a great tournament even better,” Fry said.

The event is led by a committee of Del Moeller, Guy Folkman, Daryl Smith, Susan Rust, Nancy Sheffer and Fry. Those with questions, sponsorships, or registrations for the event, may contact the Hospital Foundation office at (812) 663-1220 or by e-mail at david.fry@dcmh.net. Online registration is also available at the Hospital Foundation website at www.dcmh.net/foundation.
